  • Student Members - Student memberships are $50 per year and available to students enrolled in law school, paralegal programs, or other law-related programs. Student members can only be SUBSCRIBERS, and not PROPRIETORS. Students should fill out the student form found here.

  • Policy on “Retired” Members - Retired rate memberships are $40 per year and are available to retired members of the bench and retired attorneys who were dues paying members of the Social Law Library for at least 5 years. For a member to qualify for the reduced “retired” membership rate, he or she must be registered as “retired” with the Board of Bar Overseers and must not be engaged in the active practice of law, except for the provision of pro bono services to or on behalf of a law-related, non-profit organization such as Senior Partners for Justice or its equivalent. Retired prospects should fill out the “Sole Proprietor” form found here.
